The EU Code of Conduct is a free-to-download set of best practice recommendations endorsed and published by the European Commission, that are proven to reduce data centre power consumption if applied correctly.
These recommendations are now referenced in the EU Taxonomy and form the basis of the European Commission’s non-financial Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) reporting requirements for data centres in Europe.
Future-tech has contributed to the development of this document since 2008 and continues to be actively involved in the annual updates, with an active leadership role on the Best Practice Committee and the EU Taxonomy reporting framework.
