About Tom Newson
Tom holds a BEng (Hons) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Exeter. With over seven years of experience in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Tom is a highly skilled engineer specialising in data centre design consultancy. Tom spent seven years working for Cadence (formerly Future Facilities) who make the CFD software Future-tech uses for data centre design (Reality DC). He has an intimate knowledge of the CFD software and its use in the data centre design process. With a strong foundation in both data centre design and CFD analysis, Tom excels in delivering fast, accurate 3D ‘digital twin’ models he uses to analyse and optimise data centre design.
