Deliverables / Output
An objective root cause analysis with recommendations for future actions and strategy highlighting lessons that should be learned and any required improvements in process, documentation, training etc. The format will be a detailed report with full disclosure of facts, and an unambiguous, fact-based understanding of the true reasons behind a service impacting outage or near miss based on sound engineering analysis. This can be used either in a presentation to a client or for greater internal understanding and improvement.
Objective
To ascertain the genuine cause of a service outage based on engineering rigour and understanding inorder to capture the root cause of an outage or near miss and make recommendations to avoidsimilar issues in the future. This will include a forensic examination of the factors leading to a serviceoutage or near miss based on data centre specific engineering expertise and experience.
