Accreditations offer valuable external evaluation as to a company’s abilities, experience and commitment to best practice. At Future-tech we understand that engaging with any external company can pose a risk to your business, especially where mission critical assets are concerned. Our array of relevant accreditations offers security and peace of mind as to our expertise and approach to your project, thereby reducing risk and increasing confidence.

Certification ITIL

ITIL (formerly an acronym for Information Technology Infrastructure Library) is a set of detailed practices for IT service management (ITSM) that focuses on aligning IT services with the needs of business. ITIL describes processes, procedures, tasks, and checklists which are not organisation-specific nor technology-specific, but can be applied by an organisation for establishing integration with the organisation’s strategy, delivering value, and maintaining a minimum level of competency. It allows the organisation to establish a baseline from which it can plan, implement, and measure. This certification is held by our Fit-out & Migrations Manager.

PRINCE2 (an acronym for PRojects IN Controlled Environments) is a de facto process-based method for effective project management. Used extensively by the UK Government, PRINCE2 is also widely recognised and used in the private sector, both in the UK and internationally. The PRINCE2 method is in the public domain, and offers non-proprietorial best practice guidance on project management. Our Project Managers, Designers and Key Administration Staff carry the PRINCE2 qualification.

ISO14001 certification is a statement of our commitment to reducing the environmental impact of our work. Data Centres are by their nature energy intensive and can be perceived as inefficient. Through use of innovative designs and technologies, monitoring and controlling our material sourcing and waste management, and sharing our design principles with standards bodies and the industry, Future-Tech can make a significant contribution to increasing the efficiency of facilities and offer a significant contribution towards environmental sustainability.

The ISO9001 accreditation is an assurance to our clients that Future Tech is committed to delivering a consistently high level of service and that our procedures are robust and effective.  In the mission critical environment we work in, this is of particular importance.  Our business is about mitigating risk and delivering uptime and the ISO9001 standard is an illustration of our focus on process, procedures and quality, all of which enable us to consistently exceed our client’s expectations.

Safecontractor is an independent health and safety pre-qualification scheme. Future-tech’s accreditation illustrates that we uphold the highest standards in health and safety and are committed to continual training and development in this area. In our working environment, we believe that it is vital that our staff is health and safety trained and aware of potential risks. The Safecontractor accreditation is a statement of our belief that our people’s welfare is paramount.

CHAS, the contractor health and safety scheme, provides clients with a list of contractors that have passed the health and safety evaluation. CHAS is part of the HSE supported Safety Schemes in Procurement(SSIP). CHAS accreditation demonstrates that Future-tech’s health and safety standards and procedures have been independently evaluated to ensure we operate to the highest levels.
