| Partition walls must
provide a fire barrier and noise reduction as well as physical security.
They will usually be constructed from double sheets of plaster
board each side of a mineral wool slab. The perimeter walls will
be built 'slab-to-soffit' to provide a completely enclosed space
for fire compartmentation and to contain the fire extinguishing gas. |
