Micro data centre goes green

Bristol City Council’s new data centre won the Datacentre Dynamics award for the innovative way in which it utilises the existing ornamental moat for free cooling and the thought and planning that went into tackling the issues associated with working in a listed building. The new facility, designed and built by Future-Tech, was completed in June 2009.
